Job Description HW Staffing hiring in Thomasville and Highpoint NC Job Type: Full-time Shift: 1st Shift (Typically Monday - Friday, (7:20 AM - 4:00 PM]) Pay: Starting at $15.00 per hour Job Summary: HW Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Furniture Assemblers on the 1st shift at our warehouse in Thomasville, NC In this role, you will be responsible for assembling various pieces of wooden furniture, utilizing small hand tools, and sanding surfaces to ensure high-quality finished products. Responsibilities: Assemble wooden furniture components according to blueprints, diagrams, and work orders. Utilize a variety of small hand tools, such as screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, and drills, to securely fasten parts together. Sand furniture surfaces to ensure a smooth finish, preparing them for the next stage of production. Inspect assembled furniture for quality, ensuring all pieces are correctly aligned and free from defects. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures. Meet production goals and deadlines. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow. Lift and move furniture components weighing up to 40/ 50 pounds. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Furniture assembly experience preferred but not required. Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and diagrams. Proficiency in using basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Reliable and punctual.
