Warehouse Lead - Forklift Operations Location: Romeoville, IL Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (2nd Shift) Pay: $24/hr + Overtime Position Overview The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for supervising all forklift operators on 2nd shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and accurate movement of product throughout the coldstorage facility. This role requires a confident leader who can direct workflow, maintain safety standards, and keep the team aligned with production goals. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and support all forklift operators during 2nd shift Assign daily tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accuracy Oversee forklift operations including receiving, putaway, replenishment, picking, staging, and shipping Ensure all forklift activity follows foodsafety, coldstorage, and OSHA standards Operate forklifts as needed to support team workflow Conduct safety checks, equipment inspections, and enforce proper operating procedures Train new forklift operators on warehouse processes and safe equipment use Communicate with supervisors, production teams, and logistics to resolve issues quickly Maintain a clean, organized, and auditready warehouse environment Requirements Previous experience as a Warehouse Lead or senior warehouse associate Must have forklift experience (standup, sitdown, reach truck, or similar equipment) Experience supervising or directing forklift operators strongly preferred Ability to work in cold storage Ability to work 2nd shift (2 PM - 10 PM) Monday-Friday Willingness to work overtime as needed Strong leadership, communication, and problemsolving skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods Why Join Us?
