Assist with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting Provide companionship and meaningful engagement Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping and laundry Provide medication reminders (no medication administration) Assist with mobility and transfers Escort clients to appointments and errands as required Maintain a safe and supportive home environment Follow individualized care plans and document care provided Observe, report, and communicate changes in client condition Requirements Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience (professional or family caregiving accepted) Must be 18 years of age or older High school diploma or GED preferred Must be able to commit to live-in assignments Reliable transportation required for errands or appointments Valid driver's license required if transporting clients Must be willing and able to travel to: Huntley, Algonquin, Cary, Elgin, South Elgin, and surrounding areas (Applicants unwilling to travel to these locations will not be considered) Must pass background screening Compassionate, dependable, and committed to quality care Preferred (Not Required) CPR / First Aid Certification Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care CNA or HHA certification Experience with mobility assistance Qualifications Experience providing in-home services to seniors or completion/enrollment in a CNA or nursing program Ability to work independently in a live-in setting Strong judgment, communication, and decision-making skills Ready to Make a Difference?Apply today and join a team where compassion, respect, and quality care come first-while building meaningful connections as a Live-In Caregiver with Senior Helpers.
