Allegro Home Delivery is a fast-growing company beginning to disrupt the last mile home delivery market. We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver that is willing to roll their sleeves up, work hard, and assist our warehouse team with a variety of tasks.Primary Role:You will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock and materials. In addition, you may assist our drivers on the road with residential and business deliveriesWarehouse Associate/Delivery DriverResponsibilities: Receive and track shipmentsLoad and unload merchandise in delivery trucks using appropriate tools and equipmentAccommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandiseTrack and document exact shipment arrival and departure timesTag and label merchandiseLabel and stockpile merchandise according to size, shape, and typeBox, wrap and pack merchandise in accordance with relevant procedures and standardsPrepare all orders for shipmentRecord and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise itemsEnter data in inventory and logistics software programsAssist our drivers with residential and business deliveries as neededOn-time deliveryRepresent our company in a respectful and professional mannerExcellent customer serviceAccommodate and carefully handle fragile merchandiseOther duties as needed Qualifications Valid Driver’s LicenseDOT certification will be considered an advantageTSA approved - considered an advantagePrevious working experience as a Warehouse associate and delivery driverHands on experience with inventory and logistics software programsGood organizational and time-management skillsGreat interpersonal and communication skillsMust be 21 years of age or olderFluent in EnglishAble to pass drug screening and MVR checkGreat physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle a fast-paced environment Preferred Skills: Forklift Operation and DOT certification Benefits:We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), 401(k) match, life insurance, paid holidays and PTO, disability, and career development opportunities.Physical/Mental Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
