Warehouse Associate

Warehouse Associate Receive, store, and distribute materials efficiently and accurately. Qualifications: Ability to handle materials, including receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing inventory. Ability to learn or already know how to drive a forklift, use pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Ability to pay attention to detail. Ability to read and write and do basic math (cycle counting). Ability to work independently. Ability to get along with teammates. Ability to lift up to and including 50 lbs. often, occasionally more with assistance. 1-2 years warehouse/picking/packing experience Daily Responsibilities: Hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Follow all forklift rules and safety regulations. Perform necessary housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse neat and organized. Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders or delivery documents. Unload and sort materials. Label properly and store properly. Prepare materials for shipment including packaging, labeling and completing necessary documentation. Assist in inventory control activities. Experience: Warehouse experience. Prior forklift certification preferred. High School diploma or GED preferred.
