Requisition ID: 65451 Client: State of Connecticut Location: Hartford, CT 06106 Work Type: Hybrid (Minimum 20% onsite) Duration: March 22, 2026 - March 21, 2027 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST (40 hours/week) $57/hr on C2C Project Overview The Connecticut Department of Children and Families (DCF) relies on its mission-critical system CT-KIND, Connecticut's Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS). Implemented in 2025, the platform supports over 2,000 social workers and case managers, helping the agency manage child welfare cases while meeting federal and state compliance requirements. DCF's Information Systems Division supports technology solutions for approximately 3,300 employees and continuously works to enhance system performance, security, and operational efficiency. Position Overview DCF is seeking two experienced QA Automation Testers to support testing activities for enterprise applications and large-scale distributed systems. The selected candidates will focus on ensuring systems meet functional requirements while maintaining critical service qualities such as: Performance Scalability Maintainability Security Interoperability This role requires hands-on experience in both automated and manual testing, along with collaboration with development, product, and operations teams to ensure robust quality assurance processes. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute automated testing strategies for enterprise and distributed applications. Automate test cases based on system specifications and business requirements. Maintain test automation frameworks and documentation. Support end-to-end system testing and regression testing processes. Assist in migration and integration testing for legacy and modern systems. Collaborate with developers, product owners, and system teams to implement best QA practices. Review requirements, test scenarios, and scripts to ensure completeness and accuracy. Create and maintain test artifacts including: Unit tests Automated functional tests Regression tests Load and performance tests Code coverage reports Ensure compliance with ADA/508 accessibility standards, cross-browser compatibility, and mobile testing requirements. Maintain up-to-date testing libraries and automation artifacts. Participate in Agile delivery cycles and ensure testing aligns with acceptance criteria.
