As Warehouse Supervisor at L&S Mechanical, you will be responsible for supporting the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily operations within the warehouse. Primary functions include: Assisting with inventory management Leading a team of 1-4 warehouse workers Understanding and executing critical processes Executing and interpreting reports Coordinating staff schedules Ensuring compliance with safety protocols Problem solving & research Leading and/or mentoring warehouse workers including the training and development of warehouse staff Following established safety guidelines Providing excellent customer service to our internal and external customers to include, but not limited to: production, subcontractors, vendors, purchasing Proactive communication to management regarding issues and concerns Qualifications include: Ability to perform the physical demands of the position - working in indoor and outdoor elements with extreme variation in temperatures and weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow); climbing ladders and steep stairs, crawling, standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, reaching, able to routinely lift heavy objects more than 50 pounds and pushing and pulling of objects Forklift certification Ability and willingness to learn both systems and equipment used in a warehouse setting Competent to take direction with a positive attitude and complete quality of work on schedule Attention to detail Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time Assist in optimizing warehouse processes and procedures to achieve efficiency and meet organizational goals Experience with Excel spreadsheets, V-look-ups and pivot tables Must have a teamwork mentality 2-5 years at L&S Mechanical or equivalent warehouse experience Benefits include: Medical, dental and vision insurance FSA with debit card 401(k) employer match 1% for the first 1% contributed and a 50% match for the remaining 6% Bonus opportunities Paid vacation PTO Paid holidays Annualized reviews for merit increases Potential for advancement & company paid certifications
