Warehouse Assistant

Warehouse Worker The warehouse worker is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, packing, and shipping goods within a warehouse. They may also operate machinery to include but not limited to forklift and pallet jacks, and are crucial for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment. Essential Functions Receiving and Processing Incoming Material/Equipment: Verifying shipments, unloading trucks, and ensuring accurate inventory records. Storing and Managing Inventory: Placing material in designated locations, organizing shelves. Packing, and Shipping Orders: Retrieving items from designated locations, organizing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. Operating Warehouse Equipment: Using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move goods efficiently. Maintaining a Clean and Safe Workplace: Cleaning up spills, organizing areas, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Inventory Control and Accuracy: Assisting with counting and tracking inventory. Other Duties as Assigned: Assisting with various tasks as needed to support warehouse operations.
