Job Description

Project Scheduler We are seeking a talented consultant to support project scheduling, tracking, and management tasks for a large product development initiative. The role involves tracking deliverables, organizing information, managing schedules, conducting critical path analysis, and tracking budgets within a dynamic and less structured environment. Responsibilities Track deliverables and manage project schedules. Organize project information and conduct critical path analysis. Manage and track project budgets. Work with engineering project teams to manage multiple vendors and project schedules. Support the consolidation of schedules and highlight risks to project leadership. Improve overall project visibility and coordination. Support project documentation and track document progress. Create and maintain program-level dashboards for tracking schedules, budgets, and risks. Assist project managers with planning and administration. Monitor resource allocation and timelines. Manage small deliverables or workstreams as required. Escalate issues to the project manager as needed. Collaborate with PMO leads to standardize design review slides, PMO reporting, and tracking tools. Essential Skills Project management and coordination skills. Experience with project scheduling using MS Project. Experience coordinating deadlines and milestones across multiple engineering teams and manufacturing vendors. Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. 5-7 years of experience in project scheduling. Experience working in highly regulated environments, such as the medical device industry with Class II or Class III equipment, biopharma, or clinical projects. Experience with high documentation/document tracking systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Monte Carlo simulation for schedule analysis. Advanced analysis skills in cost-benefit, what-if, and critical path. Experience with cost and budget analysis. Strong Excel project tracking skills. Experience working with integrated project schedulers. Work Environment The position is based in an office environment, supporting a growing effort for a new product development of a next-generation continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Germantown, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
