Shipping Clerk / Light Assembly Tech. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to manage domestic and international shipments while also assisting with light assembly of fixtures. This position is approximately 50% shipping/logistics and 50% light assembly work. The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using shipping software and computers, and able to perform hands-on assembly tasks. What's in it for you? Shipping Clerk / Light Assembly Tech. Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 19.00 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 05:00pm) Prepare and process domestic and international shipments. Generate shipping labels, customs documentation, and commercial invoices. Ship products using carriers such as UPS, DHL, and FedEx. Package products securely to ensure safe transport. Coordinate shipment pickups and track deliveries. Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation. Verify shipping details, addresses, and international compliance requirements. Assist with inventory control and organization of shipping materials. Perform light mechanical assembly of fixtures and components. Use basic hand tools and follow assembly instructions or drawings. Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and accuracy. Shipping Clerk / Light Assembly Tech. Qualifications: Experience with international shipping documentation and customs forms. Experience using shipping platforms for UPS, DHL, or FedEx. Basic computer skills (shipping software, data entry, email, spreadsheets). Ability to read and follow assembly instructions. Comfortable using basic hand tools. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift packages (typically up to 4050 lbs).
