IT Tester

A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated IT Tester to join their team in the McLean, Virginia area. Responsibilities: Gather and analyze testing requirements across security initiatives Document processes, procedures, and testing artifacts Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and defect logs within Azure DevOps (ADO) Manage and track work items on the ADO Board Participate in Scrum ceremonies and Agile activities Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to support testing efforts Support deployment testing for fixes, upgrades, and new technology implementations Ensure validation of functional, non-functional, and business requirements Assist in identifying issues, summarizing findings, and providing recommendations Qualifications: Experience in Software Testing / QA Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including requirements validation and defect tracking Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Desired Qualifications: Experience with data analysis, mapping, testing, and validation Experience validating business, functional, and non-functional requirements Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO) for test and defect management Experience building reports and dashboards Ability to summarize findings and provide actionable recommendations Experience managing and tracking Agile boards/workflows Exposure to cloud environments and Pega technology
