Inventory Control Specialist

Overview This position is based in our Aurora, CO Distribution Center and works on the outbound shift starting at 3:00 pm. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficient flow of inventory throughout our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include cycle counting, maintaining slotting profiles, reviewing FIFO violations, monitoring expiration dates, and reporting improvement opportunities to management. Collaborating closely with the management team, you will help track trends and identify areas for enhancement. Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Document new items into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and update any changes to existing items. Perform cycle counts to ensure precise inventory levels. Ensure proper rotation (FIFO) of all items stored in the facility. Verify that all products are stored in the appropriate temperature zones. Record any damaged or poor-quality products removed from the inventory. Maintain the slotting profile for effective inventory management. Oversee and manage the reporting system for inventory control. Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities & Physical Requirements) High School diploma or equivalent is required. A minimum of 1 year of experience in logistics, inventory control, or supply management is preferred. Experience with perishable food items is a plus. Familiarity with WMS and/or ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Pay Range The pay range for this position is $20.19 - $23.00 per hour.
