Warehouse Lead

We are seeking a Warehouse Lead to guide our Inbound Department and help ensure accurate, efficient, and organized receiving operations. The Warehouse Lead is responsible for leading and supervising employees within the Inbound Department. This role sets procedures, prioritizes workloads, collaborates cross-functionally, and ensures that receiving operations run smoothly and accurately. Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Supervision Lead tasks across the Department. Supervise and guide the warehouse receiving team. Set procedures and provide operational guidance within Receiving. Establish goals and prioritize daily workload. Train employees and provide ongoing support and development. Manage assigned projects and departmental initiatives Inbound & Receiving Operations Process and manage Bills of Lading. Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently. Lead material handling task workload and troubleshoot issues. Ensure returns are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Oversee assembly processes, including entering orders, creating Purchase Orders, and maintaining inventory. Vendor & Cross-Department CollaborationWork with external partners, vendors, and stakeholders. Serve as a liaison among internal departments. Resolve shipment discrepancies and coordinate credits or corrective action. Guide team members when encountering issues. Requirements1-2 years of Warehouse supervisory experience OR 4-year Supply Chain Management degree or other related field Must live within a daily commutable distance Preferred Experience with Third Party Logistics (3PL) systems Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Experience in warehouse, distribution, or retail receiving operations Ability to lead teams and prioritize in a fast-paced environment What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($18-$19+ depending on experience) Growth opportunities within a well-established organization Team-oriented work environment Stability and long-term career potential Comprehensive benefits Iowa80.com is committed to providing a safe work environment.
