Warehouse Technician

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a long-term position in the Houston, Texas area: WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN Warehouse Technicians perform any combination of tasks to receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products within warehouses and/or onsite facilities. Major Duties and Responsibilities: Reads work order, shipping order, or requisition order to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas by hand, hand truck, or forklift Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as size, type, color, or product code Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and other stock items May also distribute tools Records materials or items received and distributed May be responsible for inventory and inventory control May be required to load or unload materials from trucks, trailers, or rail cars May be required to manually package 80 lb bales of rubber into various containers Work in warehouse/finishing building in high and low temperature environments Work 12 hour rotating shifts (6AM-6PM rotating days/nights, including holidays and weekends The successful candidate will maintain a high degree of personal safety and environmental awareness at all time.   This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner.  The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.  Interested applicants may submit their resume to or attach them to this online application.
