Mechanical Assembler II

Assembler II - Precision Manufacturing Location: Harwood Heights, IL Shift: 1st Shift - 9 hours, 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., no Saturday work We're seeking an experienced Assembler II to join our precision manufacturing team in Harwood Heights, IL. This is a hands-on role where you'll work on complex builds, perform setups, and assemble high-quality components for demanding applications. If you have a sharp eye for detail, take pride in producing quality work, and enjoy a mix of routine and challenging projects, we want to hear from you. What You'll Do: Assemble and test mechanical seals and/or aerospace subassemblies following detailed process sheets, drawings, and specifications. Work on both standard and complex assemblies, including setups, specialized fixtures, forming presses, and laser marking equipment. Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and drop indicators to ensure quality standards are met. Occasionally work in a clean room environment (training provided). Operate and adjust specialized equipment, including updating simple laser marker programs when required. What We're Looking For: Proven mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and engineering drawings. Skilled in using precision measuring instruments. Comfortable with setups, specialized equipment, and both manual and precision assembly work. Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and able to work efficiently on multiple projects.
