Warehouse Assistant $15-$17/hr A local company in Houston, is searching for a Warehouse Assistant to assist the companys warehouse clerk in the daily operations of a manufacturing company. This is a temp assignment in a fast-paced environment. Overview: This position is responsible for assisting the warehouse department and its operation needs. Responsibilities: Assisting the warehouse department and the warehouse clerk with any shipping & receiving operations. Operate a Sit-down/stand-up Forklift. Inventory Warehouse organization Warehouse maintenance, including the upkeep of the warehouse, warehouse office, and restrooms. Package delivery and pickup in the Houston Metro area. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Minimum high school graduate/diploma. Previous warehouse experience Knowledge of tools and safe working practice of tools Qualitative abilities include strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and effective problem-solving skills. Team player. Willing and able to learn new products, concepts, and techniques. Able to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment. Ability to lift up to 50lbs, stand, sit or crouch for an extended amount of time.
