Shipper and Receiver Join our dynamic team as a Shipper/Receiver, working the 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm. This role involves handling and organizing merchandise, ensuring accurate shipment and receipt of goods. Responsibilities Offload incoming merchandise, open containers, and accurately record quantities received. Read customer orders to move, gather, or distribute items to the correct storage or staging areas. Label and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins using predetermined sequences. Fill requisitions, work orders, and stock requests, preparing parcels for shipment when required. Operate warehouse equipment, including reach truck and pallet jack, to transport items. Place stock in correct locations and perform dropdowns to maintain accessible pick levels. Essential Skills 1 year experience in a shipping/receiving role. Ability to follow written and verbal assembly directions; mechanically inclined. Strong attention to detail and problem resolution skills. 1 year of documentation experience with strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to perform basic math calculations. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year experience in a distribution warehouse environment. 1 year experience using a reach truck. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc. Skills in general labor, RF scanner usage, pallet jack operation, material handling, and computer skills. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Liverpool, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr.
