Packing Clerk

Responsible for entering product information into EPICS (Extrusion Software) and providing teams with information on packaging requirements. There are opportunities for advancement if the candidate possesses the necessary skills. Take information from tags on racks/baskets and enter into EPICS. Produce tags for the next routing step. Supply information to packing teams for bundling requirements. Check shipping tolerances when posting production. Able to walk the floor for 12-hour shifts. Facility is not climate controlled. Ability to interact with numerous team members in a professional manner. Includes other duties/responsibilities as assigned by supervisor. Requirements Preferred One (1) year basic computer experience and ability to read and write. Must be able to lift/carry materials up to 50 pounds; move about the plant and office; turn on and operate a computer and various equipment in the applicable environment; communicate efficiently and effectively in person and complete required paperwork. Required to wear all appropriate PPE while on the production floor. Hardhat and safety glasses required in some areas. Typical manufacturing plant environment. Concrete floors and the facility is not climate controlled.
