LHH is partnering with a company in the construction industry to identify a temporary to hire Accounts Payable Specialist. This person will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying expenses, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will partner with a team and training will be provided, but the manager is looking for someone who wants to build a career in accounting. This team is looking to add someone immediately so the interview process will be quick. This position is fully in office in Bothell, WA but free parking is offered. Responsibilities: Process vendor invoices and expense reports accurately and efficiently. Verify invoice details, including prices, quantities, and terms, to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review purchase orders, contracts, and other supporting documents to validate expenses and ensure compliance with company policies. Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies with vendors and internal stakeholders. Prepare and process weekly, monthly, and ad hoc payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer. Maintain vendor records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate. Respond to vendor inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum of two years of experience in accounts payable or related field. Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
