Dishwasher The dishwasher plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen by ensuring all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. Essential job functions: Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwasher or by hand. Ensures all kitchen equipment and dishes are cleaned to health and safety standards. Maintains cleanliness of dishwashing area, including floors, counters, and sinks. Disposes of trash and recycling properly. Other job functions: Performs other duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand for long periods. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Education degree: High school/GED Education required: No Work experience related: Prior experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role preferred. Work experience preferred: Must be age 18 or older. Physical demands: Light to moderate physical effort that includes frequent standing or walking or maintaining arms and hands in the same position for repetitive tasks. Frequently works with light objects and light hand tools. Hazards: Occasional hazards that are predictable or well protected against (hazardous waste, ladders, cleaning supplies, trips and falls).
