Forklift Operator

Forklift Operator - Immediate Hire and Start! We are seeking an experienced forklift operator with 1-2 years of experience in traditional stand-up or sit-down forklift operations within a warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be proficient in scanning inventory in and out using a scanner and a computer system and have the ability to handle pallets by stacking, loading, unloading, and staging. Responsibilities: Operate traditional stand-up or sit-down forklifts in a warehouse environment. Scan inventory in and out using a scanner and computer system. Handle pallets by stacking, loading, unloading, and staging. Perform material handling tasks using electric pallet jacks. Assist with inventory management and shipping/receiving processes. Complete other tasks as needed, such as sweeping, cleaning, and organizing. Essential Skills: 1-2 years of experience operating either a sit-down or traditional stand-up forklift. Ability to scan inventory in and out using a scanner and a computer system. Proficiency in handling pallets and material handling. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Experience with inventory management is a plus. Shipping and receiving skills are a plus. Comfortable performing additional tasks such as cleaning and organizing. Work Environment: The role is based within a manufacturing facility with open positions available at two locations, both in Bayonne. The first location operates the first shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The second location follows the same schedule, with 75% of the day spent on the forklift, moving pallets and staging orders. The work environment is dynamic and requires adherence to safety protocols. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bayonne, NJ. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
