Unarmed Security Officers Needed In Gresham, OR The focus of a security officer at this site is access control and putting the safety of the client and each other first. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Foot patrol Vehicle patrol Mail delivery Access control Video monitoring Traffic control Pool car fleet upkeep Truck gate logistics Issuing badges Client call offs Qualifications: Be at least 18 years of age Possess high school diploma or equivalent One or more years of security and supervisory experience Valid drivers license preferred or the ability to obtain a valid drivers license within six months of hire date Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing requirements for security officers/guards Possess effective written and oral communication skills to accurately maintain completed logs and reports Ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional manner Possess intermediate computer skills Frequent sitting, standing, and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs, walking up inclines, and on uneven terrain Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat Ability to follow established security protocols, while using initiative and good judgement Additional Information / Benefits 401K/403b Plan Dental Insurance Paid Vacation Vision Insurance Medical Insurance The following screenings are required: Education Verification Finger Printing Employment Verification Criminal Background Check Drug Screen The following shifts are available: Fill in when needed - All Shifts
