NICU Nurse Practitioner

Location: Baltimore, MD Shifts: The need right now is primarily nights; possibly mix of days/nights.Sat-Sun; Rotating 12 hour days and nights; 7am-7:30pm, 7pm-7:30am (likely depends on shift availability and when provider is available) Minimum 6 shifts per month commitment needed Shift Days: Weekdays, Weekends Hours per Week: Minimum 6 shifts per month commitment needed Contract Length: 6 Month(s) but likely to extend on an ongoing basis Start Date: ASAP (can get temp privs) Details of Assignment: - Need: Neonatal NP/PA in NICU- Daily case load: 6-14 patients- NO CALL- this is a level IV NICU (the most advanced, highest level of NICU care available)- APP will attend all high-risk deliveries- Procedures APP will be required to perform: lumbar puncture, direct laryngoscopy intubation, chest tube placement, chest tube removal, needle decompression, needle thoracentesis, umbilical vessel placement (arterial), umbilical vessel catheterization (venous), suprapubic bladder tap, arterial cannulation through radial approachClient will cover flight, lodging, and rental car/mileage
