This is a high visibility initiative and an excellent opportunity for clinicians who thrive in fast paced, high acuity psychiatric settings.Position DetailsRole: PMHNP Crisis Stabilization UnitOpenings: (6) Full time PMHNPs + (1) PRN PMHNPType: Locums or Locums to PermLocation:Rutgers UBHCNewark, NJ 07103Start Date:Orientation begins April 6th, 2026 all providers must be available Monday Friday that week.Duration:Minimum 8 weeks; likely 13+ weeks with extensions. Strong performers may be offered permanent positions.Schedule:24 hour Evaluation & Treatment Center. One PMHNP per shift. No on call required.Compensation:$100/hr.Clinical ScopeThe PMHNP will work within a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) focusing on rapid assessment and stabilization not long term treatment.
