We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Floor Manager Assistant to join our leadership team and help uphold our standards of excellence in hospitality. Position Overview The Floor Manager Assistant is responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations of the dining room and bar while maintaining exceptional guest satisfaction. This role involves overseeing staff performance, supporting training initiatives, coordinating service flow, and assisting with management of front-of-house systems and operations. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Training Train and mentor service staff; oversee ongoing training materials and updates. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure consistent growth and excellence. Support the hiring process — including first-round interview screening and preparing hiring materials. Operations & Coordination Supervise daily floor operations to maintain a seamless guest experience. Coordinate staff schedules, lead pre-shift lineups, and manage floor maps. Oversee Toast management (POS functions, updates, and reporting). Collaborate with ownership and chefs to update menu items and weekly specials. Execute private and in-house events as needed. Guest Experience Lead the floor by example—maintaining presence, anticipating guest needs, and resolving service issues promptly. Uphold and reinforce hospitality standards aligned with Michelin-level expectations. Ensure consistency in service delivery and restaurant ambiance. Administrative Support Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs. Support coordination of restaurant needs between FOH and BOH. Maintain operational efficiency while contributing to team morale and accountability. Qualifications 2–3+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in upscale or fine dining settings. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. In-depth understanding of service flow, reservations, and POS systems (Toast experience preferred). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism. A collaborative mindset with a genuine passion for hospitality and team development.
