NP/PA Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery - Covington, LAAvailability Start Date: January 26, 2026 Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Call: Required Nights, weekends, and holidays Call Type: 2nd Call / Backup Response Time: 30 minutes Practice Setting Setting: Hospital-based Responsibilities: Assigned inpatient rounding First assist with cardiothoracic surgeon Patients Per Shift: Approximately 13 EMR: Epic Clinical Focus Specialty: Cardiovascular / Cardiothoracic Surgery Required Skills: Endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) Radial artery endoscopic harvesting Candidate Requirements (Quick Screen) Role: Nurse Practitioner First Assist or Physician Assistant Experience: Minimum 3 years preferred Board Certification: Required Fellowship Training: Preferred Certifications: ACLS - Required BLS - Required Recruiter Notes Surgical first assist role with inpatient rounding Call responsibilities are mandatory EVH and radial artery harvesting experience required for consideration Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more!
