Job ID: BD-1299C-01We're looking for a Physical Therapist to join a school-based team serving students with significant disabilities at a school facility in Eldon, Missouri. You'll deliver therapy aligned with each student's Individualized Education Program (IEP), using an integrated, classroom-based approach. This is a contract role through July 31, 2026, with a schedule that follows school hours.Quick factsProfession: Allied Health - Physical Therapist (PT)Location: Eldon, MissouriFacility: School settingType: Contract (through 7/31/2026)Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-3:00 PM (school hours; additional scheduling as mutually agreed)Service delivery: On-site and/or teletherapy per school requirementsPay: $55/hourWhat we're looking forActive Missouri PT license in good standing.Experience working with students ages 5-21, especially those with severe disabilities, is preferred.Knowledge of integrated therapy approaches, IEPs, and IDEA regulations.Ability to pass the Family Care Safety Registry screening and FBI fingerprint background check.Strong communication and collaborative skills for working in a multidisciplinary school team.Key responsibilitiesProvide direct PT services to students according to their IEPs.Use an integrated, classroom-based approach to implement therapy.Consult with teachers and school staff to support student progress toward IEP goals.Review student records and IEPs to ensure services are appropriate and compliant.Coordinate schedules and services with teachers, administrators, and other team members.Document all therapy sessions, including details, duration, and required data entry in designated systems.Assist with IEP-related documentation (present levels, progress updates) when requested.Participate in trainings, meetings, and consultations as required by the school.Offer additional supports as needed-staff training, material development, IEP meeting participation.Help maintain continuity of services during absences or staffing changes.Protect student confidentiality and comply with mandated reporting, conduct, and safety policies.Perform other duties as assigned.If you enjoy working in schools and want to make a direct impact on students' functional outcomes within the classroom, this role offers a collaborative environment and predictable school-year hours.
