Ref #: C-PT-We're looking for a motivated Physical Therapist to join a team in Fair Lawn, NJ for a 14-week contract/travel assignment starting ASAP. You'll work a full-week schedule (Sun-Sat) from 8:00 AM-4:30 PM. Compensation is: Travel pay $2,121/35 hrs; Local pay $2,090/35 hrs.What we need from youCurrent, active Physical Therapy state licenseCPR and BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross (must include AED)What you'll be doingPerform thorough physical assessments, review medical histories, and coordinate with the care team to understand each patient's needs.Create individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable rehab goals.Design and lead exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, and coordination.Use hands-on techniques-joint mobilization, soft tissue work, manual stretching-to improve mobility and reduce pain.Apply therapeutic modalities as appropriate (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) to support pain relief and tissue healing.Train and advise patients on proper use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).Educate patients and family members about conditions, treatment plans, injury prevention, body mechanics, and ergonomics.Implement pain management strategies using therapeutic exercise, modalities, and manual therapy.Help patients regain independence after surgery, injury, or illness to improve quality of life.Monitor and document patient progress, modifying plans as needed to meet goals.Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other team members to coordinate care.Provide customized home exercise programs to support continued recovery.Maintain accurate records-assessments, treatment notes, progress, and any changes in condition.Adhere to ethical and legal standards, protect patient confidentiality, and obtain informed consent.Deliver culturally sensitive care that respects the diverse backgrounds of patients.Perform other duties as assigned by management.If you're ready to make a meaningful impact and meet the requirements, this is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team in Fair Lawn.
