Critical Care/ICU Nurse Practitioner

Work Details: Support staff: Nursing, RT, NCC attending, +/- additional APPs Amount of coverage needed per month: 3 night shifts per week Patients per day: 10-20 patients, will not see them all but see based on acuity Patient population/age: Adult ICU (>18yo) with primary neurologic diagnosis Department description: Neuro ICU - 24 hour APP in house coverage with neurointensivist support (formal daily rounding; phone availability overnight); comprehensive adult ICU patient management (closed unit) with primary neurologic diagnoses EMR: EPIC Hospital bed size: 446 - 16 bed unit in level I trauma academic research hospital in downtown New Orleans
