Locums - Greenville, South Carolina NP Oncology Opportunity Clinical Role Join a well-established cancer center providing comprehensive hematology and oncology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced NP seeking a balanced role with clinic, rounding, and light call responsibilities.Coverage Dates: ASAP - end of SeptemberPosition Highlights:Free-standing cancer center with strong physician and APP supportBalanced mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient roundingManage both benign hematology and malignant oncology casesCollaborative care model with dedicated oncology nursing staff Schedule & Coverage Outpatient clinic + inpatient rounding responsibilitiesCall schedule:Tuesday: 4:30 PM - 8:00 AMFriday 4:30 PM - Monday 8:00 AM (includes weekend rounding)Weekend responsibilities: On-site inpatient rounding (Saturday & Sunday)Call rotation: Approximately every 5-6 weeks Clinical Details & Responsibilities Patient population: Adult & geriatricCase mix:65% benign hematology35% malignant oncologyPatient Volume:Outpatient: 15 patients per dayInpatient (rounding/call): 20 patients per dayResponsibilities Include:Management of bone marrow transplant patientsBlood bank coordinationOrdering labs, imaging, and treatmentsPrescribing medicationsChemotherapy administered by oncology nursing staffSupport & Technology:8 physicians and 4 APPs in the practiceEMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified in Hematology & OncologyActive South Carolina license required (or willing to obtain)BLS certification requiredDEA requiredRecruitWell can arrange a phone call with you and the client to discuss this opportunity in more detail.
