Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care in Lynchburg, VA Facility Overview: Join a dynamic urgent care clinic located in Lynchburg, Virginia, known for its commitment to providing quality care in a patient-centered environment. You will be supported by a supervising physician available via phone, allowing for autonomous practice that promotes both professional growth and effective patient care. Job Responsibilities: Provide episodic care and injury treatment in an urgent care setting. Perform assessments, diagnosis, and management of patient care. Utilize Anthem EMR for patient documentation. Work 12-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM. Coordinate with a supervising physician for optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications: Board Certified (ANCC, AANP) - Required. Active Virginia license - Required. BLS certification - Required. Must be a local provider - Required. Must be willing to work within the specified rate cap - Required. License and Certification Requirements: Active nurse practitioner license in Virginia. Current BLS certification.
