You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing healthcare needs of patients in a psychiatric inpatient unit, primarily focusing on adult patients. The assignment is forecasted to last for approximately one year, providing stability and ongoing professional development. Required Skills: Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) with valid licensure to practice independently in MassachusettsAt least 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in inpatient or psychiatric settingsCPI (Crisis Prevention and Intervention) training completed or willing to obtainStrong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical decision-making skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary teamNice to Have Skills: Experience working with adolescent and elderly populationsPrevious experience in psych or inpatient healthcare settingsBilingual abilities or additional language skillsPreferred Education and Experience: Master s Degree or higher in Nursing or related fieldMinimum of 2 years post-licensure clinical experience, with a focus on mental health or inpatient careOther Requirements: Coverage needed for intermittent weekends; primarily Monday through Friday, 8:30 am 5:00 pmValid certifications including CPR, CPI, and state licensureAbility to work intermittently on weekends as needed for coverageWillingness to work in a fast-paced psychiatric inpatient environmentThis is a full-time role offering an hourly pay rate of $1.00.
