Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant Specialty: Interventional Pain ManagementLocation: Roanoke, VASchedule: Monday Friday Flexible start time between 7:30 AM 9:00 AMCompensation: $120,000 $135,000 annually Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a leading interventional pain management practice. Key Responsibilities Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinationsConduct independent follow-up visits in accordance with Incident-to guidelinesDevelop and manage patient care plans under physician supervisionAnalyze diagnostic test results and determine appropriate follow-up careRecommend and adjust treatment plans based on patient responseMaintain accurate, real-time documentation in the EMRProvide patient education, counseling, and ongoing care guidanceSupport physicians during high-volume clinic daysAssist in medical emergencies, including medication administration and emergency protocol adherenceMaintain infection control standards and ensure a safe clinical environmentMeet productivity metrics while delivering high-quality, patient-centered carePerform administrative duties as needed, including documentation and log maintenance Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted NP or PA license in Virginia and/or Maryland (based on location)Master s degree from an accredited programNCCPA certification (for PAs)Valid DEA and NPI (or eligibility to obtain)Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS certificationsStrong clinical judgment and understanding of legal considerations in healthcareExperience with EMR systems (Centricity or Modernizing Medicine preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical setting Preferred Qualifications Experience in pain management, orthopedics, urgent care, or related specialtyStrong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication skills with a patient-centered approachEmpathy and compassion for patients experiencing significant painWillingness to learn and collaborate in a supportive team environment Work Environment Fast-paced outpatient clinical officeFrequent interaction with patientsRegular use of clinical equipment (including autoclaves, C-arms, crash carts, IV materials)Exposure to standard clinical risks (bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases)Strict adherence to OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols Why Join?
