Receiving Clerk

Receiving Clerk Pegasus Northwest located in Kent, WA is currently looking for a Receiving Clerk to join our team in a fast paced and rewarding environment. Job Duties Counts, measures, or weighs articles to verify contents of shipments against bills of lading, invoices, or storage receipts by performing the following duties: Examines articles for defects and sorts articles according to extent of defect. Attaches identification data onto article. Records factors causing goods to be returned. Unloads and unpacks incoming shipments. Utilize a personal computer system to conduct warehouse operations, communicate with others, and extract information and process reports for management personnel Inform management of concerns regarding problems in the receiving area. Assist with ideas for improvements to this area as well. Receive all incoming deliveries, inspect parts/material the same day as received. Write up material tags for customer jobs. Professional and courteous communication with potential and existing clientele. Skills / Knowledge Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken) Have a good computer skills Experience working with Excel and Word Ability to multi task in a dynamic, fast moving environment Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities Must be a team player with a positive and professional disposition Ability to stand for long periods of time, ability to bend and squat throughout an 8-hour shift Forklift Experience
