U.S. Environmental Rental Corporation, a leader in environmental testing equipment rentals, is seeking a dedicated and friendly Customer Service Representative to join our team. Overview At USERC, service is not only at the heart of our product, but also what distinguishes us from the competition. We pride ourselves on being responsive to our client's needs. Therefore, CSR's must be friendly, diplomatic, and organized. They are expected to work with our clients, as well as other associates throughout our organization, to ensure that orders are filled accurately and in a timely manner. A positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn about our equipment, including specifications, applications, and maintenance, is a must for all Customer Service Representatives. Essential Responsibilities · Provide outstanding customer service: You will provide friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt assistance to clients by answering incoming calls and emails while promptly addressing all inquiries, concerns, and requests.· Process rental and sales orders: Utilizing our rental software, Alert IMS, you will process clients' rental orders, ensuring that all necessary information has been collected and documented. This includes changes to existing orders such as cancelations, additions, subtractions, transfers, and stop rentals.· Assist clients with product selection: You will provide recommendations, explain technical specifications, and address any client questions or concerns.· Troubleshoot and resolve issues: In the event of equipment malfunctions, delivery delays, or other challenges, you will proactively work to resolve client issues.· Maintain accurate records: You must update client information, rental contracts, and order client details in our rental database, Alert IMS, as well as share any necessary information with other departments.· Encourage a positive work environment: It is important to work collaboratively and treat all team members fairly and respectfully while working towards constructive solutions.· Company-wide communication: Communication is vital to any company's success. It is imperative that all essential and vital information be shared with our technicians, salespeople, purchasing and delivery/shipping teams via appropriate communication protocols, which may include including face-to-face discussions, inter-office phone calls, email, or video conferencing.· Follow-up: It may be necessary to follow-up with clients. It is critical to be thorough and timely when communicating with clients concerning their contacts, accounts, or other specific details.· Staying current: Proper training will be provided by the company. However, it is incumbent upon all employees to ensure they competently understand the materials as well as invest the time and energy to upgrade their knowledge as the company integrates new technologies.· Other responsibilities: Regardless of any employee's position or title, from time to time it may be necessary to assist with other assignments that may or may not be related to one's function.
