Material Handler

Nesco Resource is looking for a Material Handler located in Danbury, CT. This is a contract position with opportunity to be converted directly. Shift: Monday-Friday 7AM-3:30PM (Available to work OT after 3:30 and every other Saturday if needed) Pay: $23-$24/hour depending on experience Job Summary: Seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role involves moving materials, maintaining inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of parts to support workflow. Responsibilities: Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials Load/unload shipments and stage materials for production Track inventory and perform cycle counts Prepare and label outgoing shipments Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Requirements: 3+ years of warehouse or material handling experience Forklift experience required (certification a plus) Ability to lift up to 50-70 lbs Basic computer skills; ERP system experience preferred but not required Strong attention to detail and reliability Fast-paced warehouse/manufacturing setting Standing, walking, and lifting throughout shift Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
