CNC LATHE MACHINIST - AEROSPACE AND DEFENSE We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setup and operating CNC machinery and possess the ability to read and interpret blueprints. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for producing precision parts and components while ensuring the highest quality standards are met. You will be working in a clean, temperature-controlled shop on new CNC machines with the latest features and technologies. Duties Set up and operation of CNC multifunction turn twin spindle and twin or triple turret lathes. (mostly Nakamura). Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files. Operate Nakamura/Fanuc controls Utilize GD&T principles to ensure accurate measurements and tolerances. Conduct inspections using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify part dimensions. Experience in Aerospace shop and a wide variety of gauges is a plus. Programming experience is a plus. Qualifications Proficient in basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations. Experience with CAD software is preferred for programming purposes. Knowledge of GD&T principles is essential for quality assurance. Previous experience operating lathes and other CNC machinery is required. Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
