Jacobs-led team serves as MARTA's CPMO Supplemental Services Consultant and manage the construction aspects of the joint venture between Jacobs and H. J. Russell & Company support the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). This position will be as part of a joint venture team and the selected candidate will be hired by Jacobs or one of the JV program partners. Join MARTA's Capital Improvement Program team as a Scheduler, where you'll drive the success of major transit projects by creating and managing comprehensive project schedules. In this role, you'll help keep projects on track through sharp analysis, coordination, and resource planning. Your work directly supports efficient project delivery and the continued improvement of Atlanta's transit system. Responsibilities: Creates project schedules, assesses schedule performance status of Authority projects, and provides credible project schedule analysis for assigned projects within MARTA's Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Develops, evaluates, maintains, and distributes project schedules for various types of CIP projects including projects for expansion, maintenance, renovation, and rehabilitation of the transit system. Assists with administration of track maintaining and coordinating MARTA's track allocation schedule. Develop, assess, maintain, and disseminate comprehensive project schedules for a variety of capital projects focused on the expansion, renovation, rehabilitation, and maintenance of the MARTA transit system. Meticulously managing resources such as labor, materials, and equipment, alongside accurately estimating, and monitoring associated costs vital for executing project activities efficiently. Create detailed schedule-related information for contract documents, outlining critical conditions regarding the timeline for project completion, specific scheduling specifications, and accompanying schedule-related exhibits. Integrate and synchronize schedules provided by contractors or consultants into a cohesive overall MARTA schedule that encompasses all related projects or programs. Provide assistance to the Scoping & Screening Analyst and project owners in various aspects of developing thorough project origination documents. Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of progress schedules, paying close attention to metrics such as labor productivity, resource allocation, and financial expenditure. Offer robust scheduling support to address and resolve any changes, claims, or other challenges that arise in relation to Authority projects, ensuring smooth project execution and adherence to timelines. Perform additional related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of MARTA's project initiatives. Here is what you'll need: Prior work experience in a rapid transit environment is highly desirable, as it provides valuable insights into the unique challenges and requirements of public transit projects. Proficiency in using spreadsheet, database, and word processing software is essential, as these tools are fundamental for data analysis, project tracking, and documentation management. Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey information and collaborate with various stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners. Advanced skills in negotiation, administration, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and planning are crucial for navigating complex project dynamics and driving successful outcomes. Ideally, you'll also have: Familiarity with project management software such as Primavera P6. Sponsorship is not available for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
