Carpenter We are seeking an experienced carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of performing a wide range of carpentry tasks on commercial and residential projects. You will work closely with project managers, foremen, and fellow tradespeople to deliver work that meets high standards. Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall installation, trim work, and cabinetry. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Measure, cut, and shape materials such as wood, drywall, and other building products. Install structures and fixtures including windows, doors, flooring, and hardware. Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols. Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling as needed. Essential Skills 2-3+ years of carpentry experience Experience in steel stud or wood framing Ability to read blueprints and self-start Valid driver's license Additional Skills & Qualifications Finish carpentry work is a plus Willingness to assist with concrete work Experience in residential remodeling Long-term commitment is preferred Why Work Here? The dress code is suitable for a construction jobsite, and the work hours are from 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, with extended hours during the summer months. Be prepared to work outside in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Madison, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
