Job Description Summary: The Real World Data Sales Development Representative successfully moves leads through the sales pipeline by creating market awareness and identifying pharmaceutical and medical device companies to book meetings for our Sales Executive. This is a new, dedicated role focused on high-impact cold calling and outreach to build a robust pipeline for our RWD offerings. Your Responsibilities: Execute dedicated cold calling campaigns into pharmaceutical and medical device companies to book meetings for the RWD Sales Executive. Develop and maintain a list of targets within the pharma, biotech, and life sciences sectors to nurture for RWD opportunities. Develop a strong understanding of the Real World Data product and services, with the ability to verbalize and pitch discovery meetings. Research target leads and create an analysis of the prospect before handing them off to the Real-World Data Sales Executive. Research accounts, identify key target personas, generate interest, and develop accounts to create opportunities. Demonstrate the value of our offering through phone calls, email, collateral kits, LinkedIn, and other social mediums. Quickly learn our suite of solutions, effectively communicate the value proposition, and be able to react to objections and competitive questions. Utilize prospecting tools, such as Consensus, Uberflip Sales Assist, ZoomInfo, and Salesloft to engage with prospective clients. Diligently update Salesforce, our CRM, to stay current on leads, documentation, and follow-ups. Continuously develop your knowledge of the healthcare industry and medical terminology to ensure effective communication in regulated environments. Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas to ensure territory revenue objectives. Skills & Requirements: Required: Previous sales experience. Pharmaceutical industry experience; comfort speaking in regulated environments and understanding of medical terminology. Represent the brand at industry trade shows, managing booth operations and driving high-value, in-person meetings with prospective partners and clients (requires approximately 30% travel). Expertise in cold outreach and a proven track record of booking meetings. Prior success calling into pharma, biotech, or life sciences companies is ideally preferred. Curiosity, coachability, and a competitive mindset. Polished and engaging communication skills, both written and verbal. Organized, with examples of excellent follow-up and research skills. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome objections and think on your feet. Exhibits grit: the ability to stick with things until finished and bounce back from failure or disappointment. Experience using the following tools is a plus: CRM (Salesforce), SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, G-Suite/Mac. Ability to take initiative, multitask, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
