Desktop Support

Desktop Support TechnicianHouston, TX (Spring Branch area) Onsite 7+ Months We're looking for a Desktop Support Technician who can step in and keep day-to-day technology running smoothly for a large, fast-paced environment. This role is very hands-on and focused on supporting end users, resolving issues quickly, and keeping devices and systems working the way they should. You'll be working directly with users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and helping maintain a stable, reliable environment across multiple locations. Must haves • 2+ years of desktop support or IT support experience • Must live in the Houston area and be able to work onsite daily • Strong experience supporting Windows environments and some experience with Macs • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues • Experience imaging, deploying, and configuring desktops and laptops • Strong customer service and communication skills Nice to have • Experience supporting high-volume user environments • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or similar • Basic knowledge of Active Directory (password resets, account unlocks, group access) • Experience with printers, peripherals, and mobile devices What the work looks like You'll respond to support tickets, troubleshoot issues at the desk side or remotely, and help users get back up and running quickly. This includes hardware swaps, software installs, connectivity troubleshooting, and general user support. You'll also assist with device setup, imaging, and deployment, helping maintain consistency across the environment. There may be some movement between locations, so being comfortable in a dynamic setting is important. This role is all about reliability, responsiveness, and keeping things moving without overcomplicating the work.
