Job Description

Job Title: Helpdesk Desktop Support Location-Type: Onsite (New York, NY)- 5 days/ week Start Date Is: ASAP Duration: 3 Months (Contract, potential to extend) Compensation Range: $25-30/hour W2 Job Description: Provide Level 1 helpdesk support in a Windows environment, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues for end users across various departments. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Provide first-level support for desktop issues and service desk tickets Troubleshoot hardware and software problems, including password resets and equipment failures Respond to phone inquiries and maintain strong customer service standards Assist new hires with equipment setup and training Interface with a variety of internal departments including clinical, finance, and administrative staff Manage tickets daily vi ticketing system (e.g., JIRA or similar) Requirements: Must-Haves: 2-5 years of experience in a helpdesk or desktop support role Background in a healthcare environment Strong troubleshooting skills in Windows-based systems Experience using a ticketing system for issue tracking Excellent customer service skills and a collaborative attitude Nice-to-Haves: Exposure to JIRA, Citrix environments, or basic networking Familiarity with HIPAA/PHI compliance
