Job Description: An Order Taker/Expo employee is responsible for ensuring a positive experience through outstanding customer service. This position is also responsible for ensuring all orders are accurately taken and completed correctly. Responsibilities: Displays politeness and communicates well with customers. Promptly refers customer problems or complaints to management. Understands and effectively communicates all product and company information. Upsells menu items to generate sales. Accurately writes orders on bag to ensure complete and correct orders. Accurately and efficiently completes all sales transactions and maintains proper cash accountabilities at registers. Properly sets-up and closes down the expo and shake station. Ensures expo and shake station is always stocked, clean, and neat. Clean as you go. Follows expo procedures and process standards according to the Food Manual. Complies with portion sizes, recipe standards and quality requirements. Communicates with kitchen team. Assists in front of the house cleaning and stocking duties. Adheres to all safety protocols. Always maintains a clean and proper uniform. Any other duties assigned by management. Physical Requirements: Stands and walks during entire shift. Speak English clearly and fluently. Read, count and write to accurately complete all orders. Lifts and carries various items weighing up to 30 pounds.
