Press Brake Operator Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Press Brake Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and operating the brake press, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring all materials are loaded properly. Basic computer skills and a commitment to safety are essential for this role. Responsibilities Monitor the brake press during operation to ensure optimal performance. Operate the brake press efficiently and safely. Interpret and work from technical drawings and blueprints. Use a tape measure to ensure precise material measurements. Load and unload materials as required. Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety protocols. Essential Skills Experience with operating a press brake, specifically Amada models. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints. Ability to use a tape measure accurately. Basic computer skills. Knowledge of hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of brake press experience preferred. Experience with shear operations. Why Work Here? Work hours are from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, with every other weekend required. Steel-toed shoes are mandatory for safety in this environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
