Inventory Cycle CounterPosting Start Date: 3/17/26At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.​Job Description:Job OverviewThe inventorycycle counter is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records by performing regular inventory counts and investigating and resolving discrepancies.Job Requirements Count and verify stock levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods. Conduct daily, weekly, or monthly inventory audits to maintain accuracy. Identify and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and system records; investigate the cause of inventory variances and report findings to management. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and Manufacturing Coordinator to support inventory management initiatives. Work with various departments to ensure proper inventory management and control. Utilize Business Central to record and maintain accurate inventory, including locations and shelf numbers. Identify and support process improvement opportunities to reduce inventory errors and increase efficiency. Coordinate with warehouse staff to locate misplaced items or resolve stock issues. Assist Manufacturing Office with various tasks including performing Material Handler job responsibilities as needed. Monitor and report on trends or patterns in inventory discrepancies. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards for inventory control. Assist in preparing inventory reports for management. Participate in physical inventory counts during major stocktaking events. Perform other duties as assigned. What your background should look like High School diploma is required. Some college is preferred. 1-3 years of experience as a Cycle Counter in a manufacturing environment. Ability to provide innovative solutions and be proficient at root cause analysis. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents that are written in English. Forklift experience required. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to work independently. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Knowledge of Business Central or another ERP system is a plus.
