Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerk Join our dynamic team as a Dock Assembler/Shipping Clerk in Westerville. We are seeking individuals who are enthusiastic about working in a team-oriented environment to support our growing operations on the 1st shift. Responsibilities Receive and process incoming shipments of foam and wood products. Collaborate with a small team to match work orders and prepare production for assembly. Unload trucks and carry packages with team members, preparing them for production. Operate an air-powered staple gun and utility knife for assembly tasks. Perform repetitive tasks and be on your feet for most of the day. Essential Skills Attention to detail Ability to use hand and power tools Willingness to learn and be trained Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment Previous warehouse or industrial work experience Proven ability to stay on task and be physically active during shifts Additional Skills & Qualifications Mechanical aptitude Carpentry, woodworking, or upholstery experience Industrial sewing skills Experience with vinyl material or production Material handling experience Why Work Here? Work Environment The facility hosts 70 employees across various departments including Sewing, Assembly, Shipping, Receiving, Quality, and Engineering. The plant is mostly climate-controlled with a casual dress code allowing jeans and short sleeves. The Dock Department operates in a fast-paced, physical environment. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with voluntary overtime available. The plant is clean, spacious, and has a positive atmosphere, ensuring a comfortable and productive work setting. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westerville, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
