CNC Machinist

CNC Machine Operator PushCorp, Inc. (Garland, Texas) is a 30 year old global tech company. We are the leader in robot mounted servo motors and force compliance devices for automated material removal. PushCorp products are deployed in robotic grinding, polishing and buffing production lines around the world and are considered premium industrial tooling. As such, we invest in high quality CNC machines and cutting tools, that produce beautiful parts with tight tolerances. PushCorp is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team. Resumes are now being accepted for candidates who are seeking a full time position, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, at a rate between $18-$26 per hour depending on experience. On the job training shall be provided at our Garland Texas Headquarters. Qualifications Seeking: Must have strong work ethic, professional attitude, be detail oriented as well as reliable. Experience using various quality measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, digital height gauges, no-go gauge, etc. (2+ Years) Must have working knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used for machining. (2+ Years) Must be able to lift 75 pounds. Read and interpret machine drawings (2+ years) Basic math skills - adding, subtracting, multiplication and division, decimals, and conversions. Ability to work with tight tolerances +-.003" on high volume production scale Ability to work with small parts, i.e., size of parts that fit in the palm of your hand Experienced with deburr parts, saw/prep raw materials, etc. (2+ years) Preferred: Experience setting up 3-axis, vertical CNC mills for production runs, change tools, comp work, and tool offsets (2+ Years) Preferred: Okuma Machine Experience (2+ Years) Preferred: CAM experience for 2d surfaces (2+ Years) Preferred: Experience with manual machining (2+ years) Responsibilities: Material Prep Saw Cutting, Deburring, Cleaning Prepare, setup, analyze parts and operate CNC Mill and eventually Lathe Machines Post Process QC/measurement Post process vibratory finishing Part organization and packing for storage and transport General industrial and machine maintenance tasks Education: High school or equivalent
