Warehouse Worker I The Warehouse Worker I is responsible for safely transporting materials to and from manufacturing/warehouse areas in a timely manner using a pallet jack. This person will be accountable for the accuracy, quality, placement, and delivery of products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Load and unload containers/trailers. Locate and store incoming material. Transport material using a pallet jack, pushcart, or a golf cart. Audit inventory locations. Replenish material to manufacturing and spares. Pick, pack, and process customer orders. Review Bill of Materials (BOMs) for picking and packing of parts to complete kits for customers. Review and scan labels to ensure that products are shipped to the right destination. Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor. Manage all merchandise with appropriate care. Keep the assigned work area clean and organized. Perform other duties as needed and assigned. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications - Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required. 6 months of warehouse experience preferred. Must have basic computer skills. Familiar with transportation carrier software and service a plus. Experience working with lift for compressors, a staple air gun, and a pallet jack a plus. Must have attention to detail. Must be fluent in English (verbal and written). Prior experience navigating through ERP/purchasing software a plus. Experience using mobile device inventory scanners a plus. Must have good communication skills due to daily contact with internal employees. Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and a reference check. Physical Demands: Required to stand, walk, carry, lift, push, pull, reach, occasionally climb, balance, kneel and effectively communicate. Ability to lift a maximum of 40lbs. This position works in a typical warehouse and manufacturing environment. Clarity of vision including the ability to appropriately differentiate colors.
