Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - General/Other Location: New York Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Start Date: August 6, 2026 Duration: 4 weeks (with potential extension through the end of the year) Hours: Day shifts (7a–5p) with optional call coverage we are seeking a Hospitalist NP to provide comprehensive patient care in the General Surgery, OB/GYN, and Orthopedic units . This role includes a mix of Surgical First Assist, Operating Room, and Medical-Surgical Floor coverage . Location 50 Leroy St, Potsdam, NY 13676 Acute Care Hospital, 109 beds Responsibilities Surgical first assist and OR support (General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics) Medical-surgical floor coverage: rounding, progress notes, orders, discharges, consults Assist in hemostasis, wound management, suturing, and patient positioning Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and support staff Ensure quality, safe patient care at all times ⏰ Schedule Overview 8/6–8/8: 3x12-hour shifts 8/21–8/28: Flexible – 5x8, 4x10, or 3x12s Optional call: Weekends: Friday 5p – Monday 7a; Sat-Sun 8a–12p Weeknights: 4 shifts/mo, 5p–7a ‍⚕️ Requirements Nurse Practitioner (or PA) with experience in hospitalist or surgical support NY License in hand Epic EMR experience required AHA BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications Minimum 2 years recent relevant experience Strong written and verbal communication This is a great locum opportunity for an NP to gain hands-on surgical and hospitalist experience in a supportive environment.aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
