Job Description

Warehouse Operator The warehouse operator will assist with all shipping, receiving, and inventory organization operations. Essential Responsibilities & Duties Follow all safety rules for department and entire facility. Operating a forklift truck to Aquafil standards. Report any discrepancies or problems to the supervisor. Help to efficiently carry out all product loading and unloading tasks. Scan and track incoming and outgoing orders. Receive and process new inventory, ensuring contents match manifest documents. Inspect receivables for defects, damages, or missing items. Properly scan and inventory incoming goods. Unload, stack, move, and place products in appropriately designated areas. Move and transfer products between various sections of warehouse as needed. Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand carts etc. to transfer and deliver goods. Perform detailed manual inventory counts. Label warehouse stock for quick and easy identification and retrieval. Stack, shelve, and stage items for storage and shipment as necessary. Fulfill and track outgoing orders. Collect, prepare, package, and label goods for shipment. Double-check items to verify accuracy of outgoing orders. Ensure tools and equipment are kept clean and in working order. Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to upper management. Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Work with other warehouse team members to effectively complete assigned tasks. Be aware of Aquafil's recycling guidelines and environmental management systems policy (see supervisor if further explanation is needed). General housekeeping as needed. Ability to calculate figures and amounts, add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers. Function as a self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team. Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required combination on experience and education. Previous warehouse experience preferred. Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training.
